Korban diduga nekat bunuh diri karena malu ditegur pengasuh setelah kepergok mengambil laptop di ruang laboratorium.<\/p>\n<p>Informasi dihimpun, jasad korban ditemukan pada Rabu (6\/5\/2026) sekitar pukul 17.30 WIB. Sebelum bunuh diri, korban yang merupakan pelajar SMP kelas 3 itu sempat kepergok pengasuh pondok pesantren mengambil laptop di ruang laboratorium, korban kemudian ditegur saat bermain laptop di Musala.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKorban ketahuan bermain laptop di Mushola oleh pengasuh yang seharusnya laptop tersebut berada di dalam ruang Lab, kemudian korban ditegur oleh pengasuh pondok,\u201d kata Kapolsek Kedamean Ekwan, Kamis (7\/5\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Setelah ditegur pengasuh, lanjut Ekwan, korban lantas menceritakan kejadian tersebut kepada santri lain bahwa dirinya malu setelah kepergok pengasuh saat bermain laptop di Musala. Ia pun sempat menyampaikan akan bunuh diri daripada malu.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSelanjutnya korban menyampaikan kepada saksi daripada malu lebih baik saya bunuh diri saja. Namun saksi pada waktu itu beranggapan bahwa korban hanya bercanda,\u201d terangnya.<\/p>\n<p>Tak lama kemudian, saksi melihat korban membawa tampar dari dalam gudang menuju ke pekarang belakang pondok. Karena tak kunjung kembali, saksi lantas mencari keberadaan korban ke arah pekarangan belakang pondok.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSaat itu saksi menemukan bahwa korban sudah dalam keadaan tergantung dengan menggunakan tali tampar yang dikaitkan pada pohon,\u201d beber dia.<\/p>\n<p>Mengetahui kejadian tersebut, saksi kemudian melaporkan kepada pengasuh pondok pesantren dan Polsek Kedamean.
